A direct thermal label printer will print onto a label without ink- It will transfer the wording or text using heat. . It does not use any ribbon, ink or toner, but it requires a special type of heat-sensitive material that blackens when heat is applied.
Direct thermal labels can fade over time however we produce ‘Topcoat thermal’ material which is far superior and will last a longer. At labelling Solutions we supply many different thermal label printer packages including the Brother QL-820nwb printer package which includes labels, support and warranty starting at £150
